Mark and his wife, Pat, have been property owners and residents of the City of Anna Maria since January 2012. They are both active members of the community, involved in several charities and organizations. Mark retired from Ernst & Young as a partner in its Transaction Advisory Services practice in December 2017. Mark and Pat are year-round residents of the City of Anna Maria.
During his career leading business transformation projects, Mark worked with a number of global companies and private equity firms. Mark worked on hundreds of projects involving the purchase, sale or integration of businesses in industry sectors including automotive and transportation, diversified industrial products, and retail. Mark also had significant cross-border experience working on transactions throughout Europe, North and South America and Asia.
Since retiring, Mark has been an outstanding community member in the City of Anna Maria. He has devoted his time and energy to the City Commission as Commissioner and more recently as Vice Mayor. In addition, as a member of the Finance Committee for the Center of Anna Maria Island, Mark has provided financial guidance focused on improving cash flow that has helped the Center improve its financial stability.
Mark is also a family man and a proud father of three daughters and grandfather to four granddaughters. Mark’s wife Pat grew up in Bradenton and Mark and his family have visited Anna Maria Island since 1984, creating memories for his family of what paradise can look like.
